ROYSE CITY ISD EDUCATION FOUNDATION MISSION STATEMENT
The mission of the Royse City ISD Education Foundation is to generate and distribute resources to the Royse City Independent School District to enrich teaching, inspire learning and advance innovative and creative programs needed to cultivate a passion for learning.
THE FOUNDATION WILL ACHIEVE ITS MISSION BY DIRECTING RESOURCES TOWARD THE FOLLOWING GOALS:
• Encourage all students to work to their highest potential
• Support staff for innovative and creative efforts
• Recognize staff for influential teaching
• Build community awareness for the Royse City ISD Education Foundation
• Inspire alumni, parents and community to participate with the school district in enriching education

Would you like to make an IMPACT in RCISD? Would you like to know more about the RCISD Education Foundation? The Education Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non profit made up of a board of volunteer directors. The Foundation exists to support the teachers, students and classrooms of RCISD. Since 2009 the Foundation has given back over $600,000 to RCISD, awarded over 200 classroom grants, funded dozens of special projects, honored over 500 students and influential educators at Top Dog, and awarded over $40,000 in Scholarships.
The Foundation is currently seeking new board members that will serve on the board of directors. The Education Foundation is a working board that focuses on fundraising. Board member positions are a 3 year term which requires monthly meeting attendance, quarterly committee meetings, special events, fundraising, and requesting donated items for our annual fundraiser/dinner auction.Board members can expect to spend about 2-4 hours a week building relationships, marketing or fundraising.

The Foundation is also seeking a team of volunteers that would assist our directors with special projects and events.
Volunteer assignments will vary during busy seasons.

Monthly board meetings are a requirement. The Foundation meets the fourth Monday of every Month form 12:00 to 1:00. With exception to the Annual Meeting in February and the Strategic Planning Meeting in June, which meet on the fourth Monday from 6:00 pm to 8:00 PM. (there could be exceptions on holidays) *Are you able to commit to the monthly board meeting requirement?

I will represent RCISD and the RCISD Education Foundation in a positive and supportive manner at all times. I will work collaboratively with RCISD staff and other board members as partners toward achievement of our goals.
I will maintain and promote high ethical standards including good-faith decision making and will avoid an actual or perceived conflict of interest with other activities, interests, and/or organizations with which I may be involved.
If I do not fulfill these commitments or meet the obligations set forth by the Executive Director or Board of Directors, I can expect to be relieved of my volunteer duties. (date signifies time stamp and and agreement)
