2019 Battle for the Bay on Coastal Cleanup Day
Each year on California Coast Cleanup day, hundreds of volunteers gather at the water’s edge to pick up trash and debris in San Francisco! Together we can keep our parks, neighborhoods, and shorelines clean, safe, and healthy for everyone.

This year is extra special thanks to some friendly competition: the 2019 Battle for the Bay on Coastal Cleanup Day

San Francisco Mayor London Breed and Oakland Mayor Libby Schaff are leading volunteers from their respective cities into the battle, facing off to see who can rid our parks, neighborhoods, and shorelines of the most trash. Volunteers of all ages and abilities.

You are invited to attend the Saturday, September 21, 2019 9:00AM kickoff event at Islais Creek Park, 3rd and Quint streets (in the India Basin neighborhood).
