2019 PMP Helpers
The New Entrant/Year One Perceptual Motor Programming (PMP) will hopefully be up and running from approximately Week 4 Term 1 2018, though is dependent on the number of helpers that we can gain.

It is a physical skills programme that aims to increase children’s fine and gross motor skills, coordination, eye tracking skills, language, and memory through a variety of activities, music and games. This programme will help develop their handwriting and coordination skills to enhance learning and concentration in the classroom. For this programme to be successful, parental assistance is essential so that groups can be small and individual needs can be addressed to individualise up or down.

If you would be able to commit approximately 2 hours or more on a Tuesday, please complete the form below; parents of any year level are welcome to assist, we have even had some grandparents. The 1st session will be 8.40am - 10.40pm and the 2nd session will run from 10.45 - 12.45pm. A lunch time information session will be run early in Term 1 for the ones that have registered an interest, where you can view the equipment, activity cards, and ask any questions. No prior knowledge is necessary, just patience and a willingness to help. For further information, please view our sub-page on the school website https://milford.school.nz/pmp/
