Galammer (Galarza and Hammer) Elementary Schools will be hosting a Multicultural Night on Thursday, April 2, 2026. This will take place in the Cafeteria from 5:00-7:00 pm. Participating students, families, and community members are invited to attend this annual event. We anticipate over 25 countries represented from all around the world. We will have a Galammer Passport to be stamped at each table. Completed passports can be redeemed for a free dress pass.
Participating students/families should:
- Create a presentation board that highlights notable facts about the country (stop by the office if you'd like a presentation board for your booth)
- Include relevant information like: traditions, holidays, cultural artifacts, landscapes, foods, clothing/dress, and other culturally relevant information.
- Be available at the booth during the event hours to speak with the students and stamp their "passport" (completed passports will be redeemable for a free dress pass).
- It is not a requirement to have personal ties to the country you choose to represent.
- Because this event takes place outside of school hours, volunteer clearance is not required.
Optional food/craft suggestions:
- Come up with a craft or food item that Galarza and Hammer students visiting the booth may participate in and plan to guide them through a craft activity or offer them food samples. No caffeine please.
Responses to this form are due no later than Friday, March 27th.
