Safe Data | Safe Families Project Virtual Focus Group Sign-Up
If you are a librarian working in a public library, help University of Maryland researchers Jessica Vitak and Mega Subramaniam by participating in a 60-minute online focus group to identify and address privacy challenges in the digital age. We're developing a suite of educational and professional development resources for librarians and low-socioeconomic families to minimize risks to the privacy and security of individuals’ personal information. During the focus group, you and your peers will get to share the challenges you face as information intermediaries, and we will discuss the potential resources that would help you serve in that role more effectively.

The focus groups will be conducted virtually. All participants will receive a $15 Amazon gift card.

Please note: We will contact you to confirm your participation. Prior to the start of the session, we will provide you with a consent form to review and sign. You are free to decide at that time that you no longer wish to participate.
