Lean Government Intermediate:
Baltimore City offers three levels of training for City employees: beginner, intermediate, and advanced.

This form registers you for Lean Government Intermediate, which includes:

Step 1: Training (16 hours)
Two consecutive business days of interactive training on problem solving and application of Lean tools.

Step 2: A3 Work Session (4 hours)
A hands-on, in-person opportunity to discuss your progress/challenges in tackling your A3 and get feedback from instructors and peers.

Step 3: Presentation (4 hours)
A presentation of your implemented A3 solution to instructors and peers.

Completion of an A3 leads to an opportunity to showcase your work at an Ideas@Work event.

Lean Government Intermediate is capped at 15 attendees - the course is first-come, first-served. The first 15 registrants will receive a calendar invite for all applicable dates. Additional registrants will be placed on the course waiting list and immediately informed of any openings.

The Baltimore City Labor Commissioner, Deborah F. Moore-Carter grants employees permission leave to allow for their participation in Lean Government training.

Course Dates: April 5-6 8:30am to 4:30pm
A3 Work Session: May 19 - 8:30am to 12pm

A3 Presentation: June 30 - 1pm to 4:30pm
