WELCOME Vendors to The Alberta Dames Modern Vintage Market
November 4th 2017 at The former Cochrane Curling Club right in the busy heart of Cochrane Alberta at 109 Fifth ave (NOT the Spray Lakes Location)

We are over the big top excited that you are interested in becoming a vendor for this blow-the-roof-off event!

Our goal for this event is having FUN and bringing exclusive unique creations from confident, amazing men and women together under one roof!

The Alberta Dames Vintage Shindig is a growing event with items that are either handmade or vintage repurposed. Please keep in mind, this is a juried show and we have limited spots to fill which makes our job a tough one! We will be accepting applications on an ongoing basis and confirming as soon as we see a fit over the next few weeks. Our receipt of your vendor application does not guarantee acceptance. Vendors will be notified of their acceptance by email.

We want everyone to be successful; we pride our shows on being UNIQUE! We want our customers who drive near and far to attend our shows to have an incomparable selection of items that you can’t find elsewhere. We want vendors to work with us; we understand many of you attend other markets in Alberta BUT we want something new or launched at our show, to focus on the UNIQUE aspect! Our vendors are amazingly talented, both in their handmade items and their eye for vintage goods. Please note that mobile trucks must use their own power; there is no plug in.

We love handmade. All items that are sold at our market must either be handmade or upcycled vintage antiques. We do not allow mass-produced items, direct sales businesses or home party-type businesses.

What you can expect from us:
● Advertising
● Signage on all highway/mall intersections in the area the day of the event to draw the public in
● Ava Blake Creations and Cougar Chic Décor have a huge following of clients; you will be introduced to them via Facebook advertising for your business and products on our market page
● We will be giving away gifts to the 100 early bird ticket holders
● We will be giving away prize packages during the event

What we expect from you as a vendor:
● We are counting on you to help support our overall goal in making this a successful event. We want everyone to have a very successful show. Spreading the news will add to that
● You are required to share/promote the event on your social media outlets; together we all make this an amazing event
● You are required to set up displays so walls, ceilings, and floors are not defaced
● You are responsible for supplying your own tables(dependant on venue), table covers, table skirts, stands, etc.
● Set up and take down of your booth, including cleaning up your spot and taking down your table at the end of the day
● Making your booth stylish and inviting
● All vendors who require electricity must notify the vendor coordinators prior to the day of the event; there are only a certain number of outlets, but we will try our best to make sure you get one if notified
● Vendors are required to provide visible and attractive signage that clearly indicates business name, products for sale, prices and amounts
***Vendors are required to donate a min $20 gift certificate for our shopping spree giveaways and minimum 3 items for our earlybird bags*** more info will be communicated in your vendor packages upon acceptance
