If you would like to apply for a scholarship to assist with payment for the 2017 Global Health Summer Institute at Allegheny College, please fill out this form.  While fees are already subsidized by a grant from HHMI, we would want to ensure that cost is not a limiting factor for eligible participants.  We have limited scholarships available to assist with costs of participation that we will allocate based on this application form.  We will review scholarship applications on a rolling basis.  

Some reasons to apply for a scholarship may include: teaching at a minority serving institution (MSI) or a historically black college or university (HBCU); campus in a state of exigency and currently lacking sufficient resources to support professional development; high travel costs due to international travel; high travel costs due to the need to bring child care providers or family care attendants; and personal financial need.

Registration fees for participants are $150 for lodging, meals, and meeting expenses.  Fees for non-participating adults (spouses, other family members or childcare providers) is $50 for lodging and meals.  There are no fees for accompanying children.  The cost of a shuttle to or from the airport is $25 each way per person.
