Celebration of Local Authors application
Each year, the Croton Free Library honors published authors hailing from, working in, and/or writing about Croton-on-Hudson and its neighboring towns and villages.

The afternoon includes brief readings from the authors, a meet-and-greet with the public, and the opportunity to purchase books and have them signed.

Authors interested in participating should fill out this form! To qualify, please make sure your work meets the following guidelines:
  1. Released within the last five years.
  2. Finished & published in print -- manuscripts in process, individual short stories or essays, or e-only are not acceptable.
  3. Published in a form readers can access easily.
If you participated in our 2022 celebration, you are not eligible to participate in this year's event.

Preference will be given to authors who are part of the Croton community. Authors of books for any and all ages are welcome!

Deadline: Applications due by midnight on Friday, March 31.

Event: Saturday, April 29, 1-3pm. Short readings will begin at 2pm.
