What do you want to know about Chicago's schools?
Chalkbeat Chicago is an education news nonprofit covering schools and policy in the city, with a mission of educational equity. We want to hear from parents in our communities to find out how we can better serve you as readers and citizens.
By taking this survey, you'll be entered to win one of seven $50 Amazon gift cards! Winners will be chosen at random at the end of September; be sure to leave your name and email address so we can get in touch with you then.
How we’ll use this survey: Our reporters will have access to your responses so they can better understand your needs. We plan to summarize our survey findings in an article published on Chalkbeat.org later in the year, but that will only report collective responses (e.g., “56% of parents who took part in our survey wanted more information on school budgets.”) We will not publish detailed responses, including names, without first reaching back out to get your permission.
This project is managed by Caty Green. She can be reached at:

Which Chalkbeat bureau are you closest to?
We know this seems redundant! We're asking just in case these surveys get passed around outside of Chicago. This will help us stay organized and make sure our bureaus hear from parents in the communities where they actually report.
