Join our outdoor leaders, Bill and Todd, on the first of our Catskill Fire Tower Series hikes. Originally located in Venice, Florida, the Upper Esopus fire tower is the most recent addition to the collection of Catskill fire towers, rebuilt on the grounds of the Catskill Visitor Center in 2019.
This is the easiest of all the Catskill Fire Tower hikes, as you'll get to enjoy a level, relatively flat walk along the visitor center's Interpretive Loop Trail -- learning about the history of the Catskills along the way!
