WEATHERSFIELD FAMILY PICNIC RSVP
SIGN-UP DUE DATE:  Wednesday, September 9 (100% RSVP needed so that all students accounted for)

Friday, September 18th, we invite you to join your child at Weathersfield for our Family Picnic-on-the-Grass. Pack a special lunch or bring take-out for your child/ren and yourself to enjoy on our lawn. What better way to spend your lunchtime than with your child/ren? Please bring a blanket and/or lawn chairs for seating as no seating will be provided. You may also wish to bring hats and/or umbrellas for shade. 

As an added benefit, the Weathersfield Book Fair will be open in the MPR from 11:00am - 1:00pm. When you've finished eating, we invite you to also peruse the book fair! 

If you have multiple children attending Weathersfield, please fill out ONE survey only for EACH student. To avoid duplicates, only one (1) adult in the family should complete the surveys. Thank you!

If you have children in both TK/K/1st and also 2nd-5th grades, you will need to plan on attending both lunch times and move from the Primary yard to the Upper Grade yard by 12:10pm to sit with your older children. All children will enjoy lunch at their designated times. Older children (Grades 2-5) will not be eating the with younger children (Grades TK-1st) and vice versa.

We would appreciate a 100% response rate from all of our Weathersfield families before
Wednesday, September 9, so that we may plan the event details and order cafeteria provided lunch for your child accordingly.  Please do not order a cafeteria lunch and then also bring a lunch for your child.

                                             LUNCH DELIVERIES WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.

TK/K/1st Grades: 11:10am-12:00pm    
  • SIGN-IN is 10:55am at the main gate near the front office 
  • Meet your child/ren at their classrooms at 11:10am
  • TK families may set your picnics up on TK play yard. 
  • Kindergarten & First grade families may set your picnics up on the PRIMARY grade grassy play field before meeting your child/ren at their classrooms. 
  • NOTE: Siblings of TK students who are in grades K & 1st may join you on the TK yard, but not the other way around. TK students must eat and play on the TK yard.  Thank you.
2nd-5th Grades: 12:15pm-1:05pm        
  • SIGN-IN is 12:00pm at the main gate near the front office
  • Please meet your child/ren outside their classroom(s) at 12:15pm
  • 2nd-5th grade families may set up your picnics on the large UPPER grade grassy play field.
Non-Weathersfield student siblings are welcome to join the lunch. However, the school is not responsible for children that do not attend Weathersfield and, therefore, they may not play on the play structures.
