Adaptation Futures 2020: Fostering the Next Generation of Climate Adaptation Leaders
Early Career Workshop, 27 April 2020

This workshop is designed for Early Career Researchers and Practitioners who work and research on climate change adaptation, to develop stronger peer and professional networks prior to the main Adaptation Futures 2020 conference. The event will focus on strengthening the capacity of the next generation of scholars and practitioners to tackle emerging issues in climate change adaptation across the global North and South. The Early Career Workshop will include a series of short presentations and interactive activities to facilitate feedback on ongoing research as well as co-creation of project ideas. Workshop outputs will include a joint statement from early career researchers and practitioners to be presented at the main AF2020 plenary session, a role in jointly authoring a workshop proceedings report.
