The program consists of a 4 week training in which participants will be coached with the goal of getting certified in Azure. Training sessions will be held each Tuesday from 17:00-20:00 (April 9 - May 28)
Week 1 - Cloud Concepts:
- Why Cloud Services?- Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS), Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) and Software-as-a-Service (SaaS)- Public, Private, and Hybrid cloud models
Week 2 - Core Azure Services:
- Core Azure architectural components- Core Azure Services and Products- Azure Solutions- Azure management tools
Week 3 - Security, Privacy, Compliance and Trust:
- Securing network connectivity in Azure- Core Azure Identity services- Security tools and features- Azure governance methodologies- Monitoring and Reporting in Azure- Privacy, Compliance and Data Protection standards in Azure
Week 4 - Azure Pricing and Support
- Azure subscriptions- Planning and managing costs- Support options available with Azure- Service lifecycle in Azure- After completing this module, students will be able:- Understand pricing and support models available with Microsoft
After having completed the 4 week training, participants will be able to practice by taking mock exams provided by Microsoft. When participants have completed the mock exams, they will have a chance to take Azure Fundamentals Certification exam.
There is a Cloud Computing Club on Thursdays from 17:00-20:00 to compliment the learning and participants can also join The Shortcut’s existing clubs.
