Unity Petition
The petition below is from faculty, staff and retirees at Community College of Philadelphia to CCP President Guy Generals. When you sign the petition, your signature will be added to a public list of signers, and together, we will deliver the petition to Dr. Generals. The goal of this petition is to show that, in the face of the administration’s attempt to divide our membership against each other, we are united as faculty, staff and retirees in our fight for three fair contracts.
Petition to CCP President Guy Generals
We, the members of the Faculty and Staff Federation of CCP, are writing to express our outrage over your refusal to negotiate raises and benefits that improve our standard of living. While you got a bonus of $18,153.75, on top of your compensation of $267,550, we got nothing except your contract proposals that would move us backwards. We support our union's goals in these negotiations to:

-provide excellent health benefits for employees, their families and retirees;
-secure raises that move us forward and ensure a living wage for all at CCP;
-respect the expertise of faculty and staff in college decision making; and
-preserve the current workloads to ensure no forced overtime, and to maintain part-time faculty jobs

Treating faculty and staff fairly is essential to ensuring that current and future students have access to high quality education. Our union fought to establish these rights, and we will fight to keep them.
