Retirees scheduled to qualify at the Prince George’s County Police Firearms Range on Dille Drive must bring with them the notarized Affidavit in order to receive a certification card.
Retiree's must have a Outside the Waistband holster that fits securely to their pants, and allows the shooter to holster their weapon with one hand. If the holster collapses and requires the shooter to use their non gun hand, the shooter will not be permitted to fire.
Retirees will be permitted to qualify with one weapon only, on any scheduled session. Anyone wishing to qualify with a second weapon will be required to attend another session. Any retiree wishing to qualify with a revolver must have a six shot revolver.
9mm, .380, .38, .40, and .45 caliber ammunition will be provided when available. Any retiree qualifying with another caliber handgun must have lead free ammunition.
