Ass.-Prof. Heinz D. Wanzenboeck, who was coordinator of the MC Initial Training Network FP7-PEOPLE-ENHANCE, will open the meeting. Austrian Chapter Chair Mostafa Moonir Shawrav will report on MCA3C activities and the MCAA General Assembly in Salamanca. MCAA and MCA3C Board Member Matthew DiFranco will give a talk on future directions of MCAA and chapter management. The morning session will be restricted to MCA3C members and those eligible for membership.

The afternoon will feature Romanian Chapter Chair Dr. Maria Bostenaru Dan from Ion Mincu University of Architecture and Urbanism, Bucharest, will give two presentations: one focused on gender equity for mobile MSCA fellows, and the other giving insights on how to write a successful MSCA Individual Fellowship proposal in engineering. Finally, FFG representative Dipl.-Dolm.in Lil Reif FFG will present the scope of National Contact Point services offered for Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions.

The Marie Curie Alumni Association, founded in 2012 was established to help MSCA participants stay connected with one another, and to provide them with tools and services for advancing their careers. As of February 7, 2014, the MCAA is an AISBL (international not-for-profit association) under Belgian law.

Key to the MCAA mission is the promotion researcher mobility through MSCA actions for up-and-coming scholars. The MCA3C will reach-out to Austrian universities and funding bodies as a source of support and expertise for these actions, and will strive to maintain an active and diverse researcher network throughout Austria.

Please note that even though all current and past Marie Curie Fellows can participate on the spring meeting, the morning session is reserved for MCA3C members. MCA3C members joining outside from Vienna may apply for travel reimbursement and current MSCA fellows are eligible for reimbursement from their own MSCA project.
