Tuesday, March 22, 2022 is World Water Day! This year's theme, "groundwater - making the invisible visible", is very appropriate, considering 99% of Hawaiʻi's freshwater is sourced underground, and given the recent water contamination crisis at Kapūkakī (Red Hill).

To show our support for the safe defueling and removal of all twenty fuel tanks at Red Hill, Faith Action is hosting an all-day event, "Prayers for Kapūkakī: A 20-Hour Virtual Prayer Service". Spiritual leaders from diverse faith communities will each lead 1-hour of prayer on Zoom for a total of 20 hours.

Once registered, you can join the room at any time between 4 am - 12 am that day. Stay for as long as you like, or come and go as your schedule permits. We're keeping the room open for you to join in prayer whenever is most convenient for you.
