Mayworks 2025 Festival: Childcare Registration

GENERAL INFORMATION:

  • Childcare is free, begins 15 minutes before the start of the event and ends 15 minutes after the end of the event.

  • Event times vary. For start and end time of the event for which you're seeking childcare, please refer to the events listing on our website at www.MayworksKjipuktukHfx.ca

  • The event takes place at the Bus Stop Theatre (2203 Gottingen Street). Childcare is provided on site in the Community Room situated in the basement floor of the same building. The Community Room can be accessed from the outside from behind the building off of Maitland Street or from the inside via the stairwell at the back of the theatre atrium.

  • You may leave the event to visit your child at any time via the exterior entrance to the Community Room by going around the building, or during any intermissions via the inside stairwell by crossing the theatre stage.

  • Childcare is provided by Hope MacPherson, an experienced babysitter. Additional childcare providers may be added depending on the number and ages of the registered children.

PROVIDER INFORMATION:

Hope has extensive experience working in the childcare sector as well as, recently completed vulnerable sector checks, RCMP criminal background checks, and up to date first-aid, AED, and CPR trainings.
