Spiritual and Enrichment Reflection Form
Reflecting on your experiences is a doorway for growth. It gives you the chance to examine what is going on within you, and to get more in touch with what you really believe and feel about what's happening around you. It can help you to know yourself, your world and your God a bit better. What you write doesn't need to be deep or profound or earth-shattering. It just needs to be you!
Name of the Spiritual or Enrichment Experience in which you participated (i.e. Reconciliation Service, Advent Evening Prayer, Teen Choir)
Date you participated in the Experience
Write a short paragraph about one or two things that you are “taking away” from the Spiritual or Enrichment experience in which you participated? (Suggested prompts: Talk about something that you learned. Describe a feeling you experienced. Share an insight about yourself that you gained.)
As Catholics, we believe that God is present throughout the whole created world: in a church and in nature, in our friends and in strangers, in laughter and in tears, in our hearts and our minds, in art and in music, and in the way our bodies move as we are running down a field, kicking a soccer ball! As the Jesuits (an order of priests) emphasize in their spirituality: we can find God in all things. Where did you find God in the Spiritual or Enrichment experience you attended? Write a few sentences.
