Promising Practitioner Award
This is an award offered by PAMLE to honor teachers beginning their teaching career who have one to three years of teaching experience. The nominator must come from the same school as the nominee. Each school can select up to three teachers to receive this recognition. Please complete one application for each nominee. All nominees will be recognized and receive a certificate.

• Enjoys teaching middle level students.
• Makes a positive difference in the school.
• Seeks professional development and implements new ideas.
• Meets the needs of individual students, using effective middle level practices such as:
-Incorporating activity based learning.
-Integrating higher order thinking skills.
-Uses a variety of assessments tools.
-Develops lessons based upon the needs and talents of his/her students.

Recognition: All nominees will be recognized at the Monday luncheon at the annual PAMLE Professional Development Institute and receive their certificate. Check the PAMLE web site for more conference information:

All nominations must be received by February 15 each year.
