A Conversation on Children and Community
What role does the community play in helping children and families thrive?
Join Lin Shiyun, Founder and Executive Director of 3Pumpkins, for an intimate book club conversation based on The Good Gang — a collection of stories inspired by children from Tak Takut Kids Club (TTKC).
Together, we will read and discuss two stories from the book and explore how TTKC draws on human motivation and ecological theories to create communities where children can connect, grow, and thrive.
Whether you are a social service practitioner, educator, volunteer, student, policymaker, or simply curious about children and communities, this session offers a space for thoughtful dialogue, reflection and shared learning.
Come ready to read, reflect and discuss how a good gang of adults can help children grow up well.
