NE Science Educators: We have a LOT of scholarships for the Fall Conference - APPLY TODAY!

Nebraska's Established Program to Stimulate Competitive Research (EPSCoR) and The Nebraska Association of Teachers of Science (NATS) are pleased to offer scholarship opportunities for the Fall Science Conference, taking place October 17-18, 2025 at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.

CONFERENCE SCHOLARSHIP: Any K-12 Nebraska teacher may apply for one or both below if applicable.

🔴 Registration Fee Coverage: Available for teachers from school districts with 40% or higher Free/Reduced Lunch Rate or Title I status.

🔴 Hotel Accommodation: Available for teachers who work in any school (work address) 60+ miles from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln (UNL). This may include the night's stay before Friday's conference and a night's stay before Saturday's workshops. Please indicate your request below.

APPLICATION DETAILS:

Deadline: September 2, 2025
Review Process: All applications will be evaluated by the NATS board for accuracy and regional distribution. Not all applications are guaranteed approval.
Notification: By September 15, you will receive email confirmation regarding your scholarship status. Do not register for the FALL Conference until determination notification on September 15th.

Application Deadline: This scholarship opportunity is available until September 2, 2025.

Cancellation Policy: Recipients who fail to communicate a cancellation within 3 days of the conference dates or fail to attend without prior notice will be billed for hotel accommodations reserved on their behalf.

Eligibility Verification: School district Free/Reduced Lunch rates/Title I Status and/or distance from UNL will be verified as part of the application review process.
