Important 2019 UpdatesAs Rainbow Pride of WV carries required insurance and licenses as the reserving host organization, the City of Charleston and/or our insurance provider requires the following. Vendor requirements:All Non Profits must provide Non Profit status paperwork at the June 1st Festival.All For Profit group/individual selling items must provide City of Charleston Business License at the June 1st Festival.
All Vendors (Non Profit and For Profit, Sales or Informational) must provide proof of General Event Insurance.General Event Insurance needs to be at least $1,000,000 coverage.
For the Parade & Festival the additional insured should be: Rainbow Pride of WV, Inc. AND City of Charleston, WVFor the Pride Picnic the additional insured should be: Rainbow Pride of WV, Inc. AND Kanawha County Parks and Recreation Commission.

All food vendors must submit a list of proposed menu items. It is your responsibility to obtain all permits required to sell food items on the Boulevard and to produce said permits upon request. Please contact the Kanawha-Charleston Health Department at (304)344-5343.
Rainbow Pride of West Virginia reserves the right to determine which vendors and informational exhibitors may or may not be appropriate for the WV Pride Festival. Vendors agree to display ONLY items that are not vulgar, offensive, obscene or inappropriate for a "family-friendly" event. Vendors must abide by City Code: Ordinance No. 6006, SS 6-49-9, 2-21-1995, Section A (8).
Registration forms may be submitted electronically or by US Mail (see below). Booth location will be assigned by Rainbow Pride. Vendors may not share or sublet space without prior approval. Any vendor registered prior to May 31st will recieve first consideration for booth assignment. Vendors must provide their own insurance and are responsible for the conduct of all individuals working their booth; for materials, merchandise and equipment used at their site; and for damange to their site or other property.

Set up time is 10:00 a.m to 11:00 a.m. on Kanawha Blvd between Court and Capitol Streets.All sites must be torn down, cleaned and all materials loaded no later than 6:00 p.m. All vendors/exhibitors agree to remain at the festival location until 5:00 p.m. No vehicles may access the vendor area between 11:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
Vendors/exhibitors release Rainbow Pride of West Virginia, its membership and officers and the City of Charleston, its Parks and Recreation Department and it's Agents from any and all liability for damages, loss, injury or consequence to persons or property. The vendor/exhibitor further agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the above mentioned parties against any and all claims resulting from any and all connections with the use of the festival site, and adjacent grounds associated with the festival.
