WHY CONTRIBUTE TO THIS PROJECT?

Based on this research we will develop and pilot innovative new business models and tools. By participating in this questionnaire, you will be among the first to receive publications such as toolkits aimed to improve your operations.

Digital Inter/Section aims at diversifying the sources of income and business models for digital arts and culture organizations, while promoting sustainable, ethical and inclusive economic development.


QUICK CHECK:

This survey is aimed at organizations and institutions working with digital arts and culture, such as digital arts festivals, exhibition spaces (museums/galleries) specializing in digital arts, fablabs, hackerspaces, artists or curators collectives working with digital art as opposed to organizations displaying forms of art in digital settings (f.e. museums with dedicated exhibition spaces for contemporary digital arts vs. those offering immersive shows of existing paintings). This implies:
  • VR, AR and XR spaces can only be considered if from the artistic field, as opposed to commercial arcades.
  • Metaverses can only be considered only if hosting native digital/web artistic content (vs. simple streaming of live events).
  • Sound art can be considered only if paired with other (digital) disciplines.
Please mind that at this stage our focus is on organizations and not on individual artists. However if you're an artist, do let us know if you are interested in being in our contact list for dissemination purposes.
