Back to the Basic Masses - Summer Program
The National Union of Students of the Philippines (NUSP) is a nationwide alliance of more than 650 student councils, governments, federations, and unions committed to the advancement of students’ democratic rights and welfare. As such, the Union has earned the recognition of being the premier national student center in the country.

As part of building sentient, just, and socially-responsible student-leaders, NUSP has an education program known as the Edgar Jopson Education and Training Center comprised of various discussions on skills training and social issues. It follows the example of the young martyr and former NUSP National President Edgar Jopson. Expected outputs of this activity are trained student leaders responsive to the twists and turns of the objective situations inside and outside the campus. This will be able to teach them to be more critical and analytical.

In line with this, we are inviting your institution organization to the NUSP’s Back to the Basic Masses - Summer Program, an integration with the urban poor families in Pandi, Bulacan, and farmers in Hacienda Luisita, Tarlac this April and May.
