Call for Proposals: 5th Annual Teacher Leadership Summit - Phoenix
The Arizona Alliance of Black School Educators (AzABSE) is accepting proposals for the 2019 Teacher Leadership Summit. This years theme, Educational Excellence for African Americans: Knowledge is Freedom, is in celebration of Juneteenth, also known as Freedom Day, which commemorates the June 19, 1865 announcement of the liberation of the last enslaved African Americans in the United States.

AzABSE is seeking proposals that enhance educators' knowledge, develop leadership skills, encourage participation, provide immediate implementations, contribute to challenging conversations, provides research based strategies, embrace cultural relevant practices, and compliments a student focused pedagogy of teaching and learning.

Proposals must be submitted by April 21, 2019
