What is this survey based on?Energise South Downs held a public renewable energy workshop with local people from Alton on Wednesday 15th May.
This survey will summarise what workshop participants discussed and ask for your thoughts. This is so the wider community can comment on ideas from the workshop. The survey responses are anonymous and all the questions are optional so you can skip any you don't wish to answer.
What happened at the workshop?
Participants explored which types of renewable energy could be acceptable in the future within the local area. The workshop was not in connection with a particular planning proposal or the council’s planning policies. It was a hypothetical and exploratory session. How will the survey findings be used?
The findings of the workshop and the views expressed in this survey will be included a report for local people, East Hampshire District Council and South Downs National Park Authority.
