This proposal is to lead a session at the blendED2017: Alberta's Blended and Online Learning Symposium - Thursday, October 26 & Friday, October 27 – Radisson Hotel Edmonton South, Edmonton, Alberta.

The focus of the 2-day symposium is on applying flexible learning strategies in various learning spaces. Sessions are designed to engage dialogue and delegates will take away strategies they can apply in their own blended and online practice. For more about what blended learning is visit

Proposals are due on or before May 15, 2017. All proposals received will be reviewed and applicants will be contacted on or before May 31. Please register for the conference after you have been confirmed as a presenter. Only the lead presenter qualifies for the discounted presenter registration rate. Secondary presenters must register at regular delegate rates – only one presenter is subject to a discount.

Session formats are:
- 60 minute sessions
- Ignite Session: Using the Pecha Kucha technique, 10 presenters will have 10 minutes each to share best practices, knowledge, information about blended teaching and learning with the audience.
