Global Village Application (Intercultural Floor)

Part of the Global Village initiative on campus, the Intercultural Floor offers students a unique opportunity to participate in a globally-themed living and learning community. Students from various backgrounds and fields of study are encouraged to apply to the Intercultural Floor. The floor brings together students with diverse perspectives and allows residents to explore the challenges and opportunities of living in a global community. As members of a living and learning residence, students will investigate intercultural communication and community development through a variety of intercultural themes. Residents will strive to develop intercultural competency as they interact with other floor members during shared meals and programming events. The Intercultural Floor welcomes students who are eager to cultivate intercultural and global competencies such as intercultural communication, conflict resolution and mediation, critical thinking, and cultural studies.
