Keyboarder
To support the work of Bible translation and publishing, MissionAssist has a team of volunteers converting printed text to digital format by typing it into a computer file - a process known as keyboarding. Each piece of work is keyboarded separately by two teams of Keyboarders and then the files are digitally compared, checked thoroughly and corrected by a Digitisation Editor. The work is returned to the Project Manager who compiles together all the different files to produce a complete, electronic document and make a final check for accuracy.
