Salmon in the Schools-Seattle Workshop Registration
This is a workshop for any Salmon School located within Seattle - Schools outside may attend if space allows.
Date: Saturday, October 19th (This may be the only one this school year)
Time: 10:00 am to 2:00 pm
Place: Bertschi School, Science Lab
Enter through the corner gate at 10th Ave E and E Lynn St (NE corner of the campus)

Schools inside Seattle are free.
Schools outside of Seattle - $10.00 for materials.
Attendance is limited to 30 sign-ups.
One per school, except for new schools may have two spots. Additional sign-ups will be put on a wait list.
Schools outside of Seattle will be put on a wait list with the priority for schools inside the Seattle city limits first.
We will cover:
Tank equipment, set-up, maintenance and troubleshooting.
Observation logs and other lesson plans connected to OSPI standards; new WSSLS, common core and curriculum and service-learning connections.
Expertise available on maintenance and education opportunities.
Who should attend?
Teachers who are new to Salmon in the Schools or have never attended, are required to attend entire workshop.
We strongly recommend that volunteers involved with tank set-up or ongoing maintenance attend the tank session(first 2 hours).
Anyone that needs a refresher on Tank Maintenance.
Anyone needing some help connecting the lessons with grade levels.
