WSESU's School Nutrition Program is excited to announce the return of our summer meal kit program! 

FREE Summer Meal kits for ALL children 18 & under, EVERY THURSDAY through August 20, from 12:00 - 3:00 PM behind BUHS. Each kit will include bulk and ready-to-eat items equivalent to 7 days worth of breakfast & lunch for one child. You don't need to be from here or go to school here to receive free meals. Items include: fresh local produce & bread, local cheeses, local milk, breakfast cereals, and much more! 

  • Kids don't need to be from here or go to school here to receive free meals- ALL are welcome.
  • Boxes are FULLY FUNDED through federal USDA reimbursements. 
  • Picking up meal kits for your kids helps support the independent WSESU school nutrition program, farmers, and our community!

Support our local food system! Every meal kit you pick up for kids strengthens our food community. Summer meals are USDA-reimbursed, so these dollars help our nutrition program buy from Vermont farms. In 2025, our nutrition program purchased over $250,000 from VT producers.
