CLTA World Language Jamboree Presenter Proposal Form
Hosted by SB-VAWLT on Saturday, October 26, 2019 at California Lutheran University
Email address *
THEME: Celebrating Proficiency in the World Language Classroom
PROPOSALS DEADLINE: September 1, 2019
• The lead presenter for each session gets a reduced registration of only $30.00. This includes a free CLTA membership and free membership in the affiliate of your choice. Additional presenters in a session pay the regular registration fee.
• If you would like to use Cal-Lutheran’s technology with Internet access and LCD projector, you must bring your own laptop with a VGA female connector.
• There will be WiFi Internet connection available. However, as seasoned presenters know, university Internet is not always reliable, so you will want to have a Plan B. We encourage presenters to bring a self-contained presentation with everything available from your offline computer on a PowerPoint slideshow or other presentation program.
• SB-VAWLT will not be able to reimburse you for photocopying. Please bring ALL handouts ready.
• In your proposal, avoid such terms as "games" and "fun" and substitute them with such terms as motivating, engaging, high-leverage activities, etc.
