Legal Orchestra and Arts group (Brisbane) - Expressions of interest

The Legal Forecast (TLF) has some exciting news! We are excited to announce that TLF is launching an Orchestra and Arts group. This group will focus on creating a space for law students and lawyers to initially play music, and ultimately, carry out a range of creative projects.

Law is a stressful career. This project is part of our commitment to advancing the mental health of the profession.

Initially, this program will launch through the formation of an orchestra (or other instrumental ensemble depending on interest received) for lawyers, law students and others associated with the legal profession in Brisbane. Therefore, we are calling on anyone involved with the law in Brisbane who plays an instrument (i.e. strings, woodwind, brass or percussion) to express their interest in being part of the ensemble, which will commence in March 2019.

The ensemble will be a fun and welcoming environment for people involved with the law in Brisbane to continue (or revive) their passion for music-making. It will also be a great way to forge new connections with colleagues who share a creative passion. We are seeking musicians of all abilities, so don’t be afraid if you haven’t picked up your instrument for a while!

In the future we hope to expand not only to other ensembles but also to other art forms such as drama and art. As such, please let us know in the comment section below if you would be interested in any other activities or ensembles.

If you are interested or just want to know more, please fill out the short expression of interest form below and we will be in touch!
