NHS BAND Parent Volunteer Contract Form
A FREE band program requires the help of ALL families. Parent Volunteers log over 3000 hours each year supporting the band program. You can help by:
-Volunteering -It's FUN! Meet other band families
-Bringing food for band events (band camp, state finals, LEGO mania, etc.)
-Soliciting corporate patrons (employer, local business owners. Who could you donate if you asked?)

Each parent is expected to help provide food for 1 band activity and volunteer at 4 activities/shifts/sessions during the band year. (Volunteer in one area several times or select a variety of tasks. Committee chairs will contact you to schedule specific days/times

Central nervous system of the Marching Band -helps get equipment to and from competitions

Picnic, trunk or treat, camp snacks, homecoming pizza, jazz band guest meals, etc.

Flags, hemming uniforms, cutting patterns, pinning, etc. sewing experience not needed!

-collect and distribute chips and $ -NO poker knowledge needed

Work with the marching design team to create quality props for our marching show.

Needed Thursday nights, and at concerts

Help collect, organize Lego creations, as well as expand on the previous years event.

Run Like BAND-its Spring 5K
Help arrange location, route, timing, awards, etc. for a 5K run.

All families are expected to participate in the Patron Drive, but this is about the collection of data, and sending out thank you cards, etc. after the patron forms are returned.

Band Raffle
All families are expected to participate in the Raffle, but this is about the collection of donors/sponsors, ticket tracking, delivering to students, and communication of this Raffle. The Ornament Sale is at the Dec. Band Concerts -need to find donations for each ornament being sold, and put that together for sales at all Dec. band concert.
