We're looking for about a dozen dedicated volunteers to help organize major efforts. Would you be interested in taking a leadership role on a specific project?

Access Team (Coordinate on access issues with people in your region)
Accounting (Please... please, someone help us with our Quickbooks)
College / University Slacklining (Assist people creating college/school slackline clubs)
Conservation (Publications and Policy, ex. bolt policy, drafting LNT style publications)
Conservation (Partnerships with other organizations / companies)
Event Organization (Help us organize events like Highline Access and Anchors in America, SlackFlix & Chill, assist with festivals, trail building, cleanups, etc.)
Gather and Organize Media (Manage our photographer/videographer media partners, keep organized collection of photos/video on hand for communication efforts)
Gear & Safety Materials (Writing new content/publications, possibly rigging/gear testing and data analysis, building rigging knowledgebase)
Grant Writing and Research - Help us fund Slackline U.S. and our projects
Graphic Design (Create content for all of our projects)
Leave No Trace Ethics Cards (We can get LNT ethics cards with slackline related guidelines, need writer/editor work)
Membership Efforts (increasing membership, marketing strategies, increasing benefits for members)
Member Grant Program (Developing and managing grant program for members to apply for social impact project funding)
Newsletters (Help us keep our community up to date with MailChimp newsletters)
Outreach Projects (Various topics including working with inner city youth, adaptive sports, and other outreach)
Update Slacklining on Wikipedia (Hey, someone has to do it! Let's make sure it's done well!)
Volunteer Coordination (Yeah, what it sounds like)
Website (Assist with creating website content, blogs, graphics, converting knowledge provided by other volunteers into website content)
Slackline Accident and Incident Reporting (Helping analyze reports, write synopsis for publication, help promote submission of SAIR reports)

Slackline U.S. is looking for 2-3 more Board Members, elections to be held in December. Are you interested?
If so, tell us why you're interested and why you would make a good board member. We try to meet at least once a month online, meetings lasting from 1-2 hours. We expect our board members to oversee major projects and help with the general direction of Slackline U.S.
