Intro to Kettlebell Sport Workshop
Kettlebell Sport is one of the fastest growing sports in the US. It is easy to learn the basics of the lifts, though mastering them takes time, effort, and mental fortitude. In this workshop, we will cover the One Arm Swing, Clean, Jerk and Snatch.
HOSTS: Georgia Kettlebell Sport, founded in 2016 by Lisa Frank and Jenn Casey, who are both Level 2 IKFF Certified Kettlebell Trainers and experienced competitors. In 2017, Jenn qualified to compete at the World Championships in Seoul, South Korea as part of Team USA.
Jenn and Lisa teach kettlebell fitness and sport to kids and adults, host workshops, and run competitions and other Kettlebell Sport events in Georgia.
WHERE: CrossFit Kennesaw, 1349 Old 41 Hwy Suite 150, Marietta, 30060
WHEN: Sunday, January 14, 2018 11:00am-2:00pm. Plan to arrive about 20 minutes early to complete our waiver and get settled so that we can begin promptly at 11:00.
WHAT TO BRING: Water and snacks, and wear workout clothes. Shoes are required.
PRICE: $49 per person (payment received by January 7, 2018), $59 per person (payments from Jan 8-Jan 14)
