What is a 'solidarity fund'?
A solidarity fund is a pot of money that exists purely to ensure people who want to be at camp, can be at camp. If the cost of childcare, transport or any other expense is a barrier to you being present, then the solidarity fund can be used to cover these costs.
Who can access the 'solidarity fund'?
Anyone who needs it. We won't be making a judgement on those we think are most in need of accessing the fund.
How can I access 'the solidarity fund'?
Please fill out the form and submit it to us, ahead of the camp if possible. This means that we can make sure that we budget for eveyone who has applied for it. If possible, please hold on to your receipts and we will reimburse you via bank transfer before the camp or using cash at the camp itself.
Note: Three nutritious vegan meals will be provided each day (with additional allergies accommodated for) therefore you will not need to bring food to camp, except for personal snacks if you would like. If you require a tent or any camping gear, please let us know via the form and we can likely provide you with one that has been donated to us.
This application will be accepted on a rolling basis until our funding runs out. We aim to review applications regularly and will notify you within a week if your application has been accepted.
We will process reimbursements in two ways:
• At the welcome tent in the camp - this may not happen immediately depending on how much cash we have on-site at a particular time.
• Shortly after the camp via bank transfer.
Please keep all your receipts or proof of payment where possible.
Please add a comment if you have any questions about this process, and we will get back to you as soon as we can.
