Sciencenter Volunteer/Work Study Application
Thank you for your interest in joining the Sciencenter team! Together, we seek to cultivate a broad community of curious, confident, critical thinkers. We want to live in a world where people explore, connect, and create through science. Volunteers, interns, work study students and youth employees are integral to working toward this vision.
As a Programming Assistant, you will have direct contact with our guests and staff. We will provide training and support to allow you to grow and acquire new skills in this role. In return, the Sciencenter will expect you to present and conduct yourself in a respectful and professional manner at all times.
Please fill out the following application so that we can learn more about you, your interests, and your experience! Note that submission of this form does not automatically qualify you for acceptance as a Sciencenter volunteer or work study student. Once we receive your application, you'll be contacted to set up an interview to determine if the Sciencenter is a good fit for you and your interests or needs.
The Sciencenter requires all new hires and volunteers to provide documentation showing full vaccination status with FDA-or WHO-authorized or approved COVID-19 vaccines and boosters (within 45 days of becoming eligible), or an approved disability/medical or religious exemption before their first day of work.
