Penn Valley Friends invites Friends wishing to register for the Fall retreat to fill out the following Registration Form (deadline: September 10).

The Retreat will be held September 25-27, 2025 at the Retreat Center of the Franciscan Sisters in Independence, MO at 2100 Noland Road.

Housing is either in single bedrooms, single bedrooms with shared bathroom facilities connecting two rooms, or a limited number of double rooms with private bathroom facilities.

Cost per person depends on overnight stays and meals reserved:

·       Overnight - $60.00 per person, per night

·       Breakfast - $5.00 per person, per meal

·       Lunch - $10.00 per person, per meal

·       Dinner - $10.00 per person, per meal

The Sisters are providing the meals cafeteria-style. For Friends who prefer to bring their own food for some or all meals, the dorms have refrigerators and microwaves available.

You will also find a line for donations to offset the cost of the Speaker and/or to allow for scholarship money for those in need of financial assistance.

The registration deadline is September 10.

Because we set how much we pay the Sisters for the facilities at that point, we can’t offer refunds after that date. The number of rooms is limited, so registering early is a good idea.
