Co-Builders Application | Bean Path

Bean Path is accepting applications for a local pitch competition on June 24, 2023 at the Makerspace in Downtown Jackson (451 N Gallatin St.). Entrepreneurs will have an opportunity to pitch their venture to a panel of judges, which includes select entrepreneurs, investors, and entrepreneurial service providers, and win cash and in-kind service-based prizes.

Co.Builders is an intensive and structured program designed to accelerate the growth of qualifying startup companies. 10 companies will be selected to enter the cohort, and each will receive investment funding that will be dispersed primarily at the beginning of the cohort. This will be in exchange for ownership in their company, and this will be used to increase their capacity and motivation to participate. As a regional partner, we are organizing this community pitch competition to help showcase regional companies to the public and to sponsors. Learn more about CoBuilders, here.

Applicants selected to compete will be matched with local mentors to help prepare.

Judging will be based on an executive summary and the team's live presentation. Judges for the competition will include angel investors and select entrepreneurs.
