Junior Women in Business Application 2021-2022
Women in Business is a division of the South Valley Chamber which exists to encourage and promote personal and professional growth for all women, providing an atmosphere to build business relationships through personal friendships. The Junior Women in Business includes one young woman representative from Alta, Brighton, Corner Canyon, Hillcrest, Jordan, Riverton, Juan Diego High Schools, and the CTEC-Sandy Campus. Students who complete all the requirements of the program will be awarded a $1,000 scholarship to a school of their choice. This opportunity is open to both incoming juniors and seniors.

Program Requirements:

1. Participate in WIB monthly luncheons, usually the 4th Tuesday of each month (11:30 am to 1 pm)
2. Participate in the Canyon's School District job shadow program
3. Attend a portion of a legislative session
4. Participate in a service project directed by the South Valley Chamber
5. Actively engage with your Women in Business Mentor

After two absences, the WIB committee will reserve the right to revoke your scholarship. All students participating in the scholarship program will be required to have a parent signed assumption of risk form that states that the student is responsible for their own transportation and any acquired parking fees.
