By doing so, I won't have to use time during our session to ask the same questions that allow be to properly assess your currently level of understanding, what you hope to gain from the our session(s), and how we can structure our session to best fit your learning style and goals.

This question is very important for both of us. It' is perfeclty alright not to want to learn everything there is to know about the topic(s) that we will be going over. In economics you will learn about the "opportunity cost" (the next-best alternative to a decision you decided to make) to everything, including defining our life-goals, choosing careers, or how each minute is "spent" in a tutoring session. Even though many of these topics are very passionate to me, you might have a similar passion that is aligned elsewhere. Whatever that passion is, FOLLOW IT TO THE ENDS OF THE EARTH NOT MATTER HOW DIFFICULT THE PATH MAY BE. If that passion happens to be aligned with my specialties, then ask all the questions you can think of and I hope to serve you well in your journey of learning.

At the end of the day, we are all human beings. I've likely been in some of the same struggles you are experiencing in your pursuit of learning and understand that is sucks. A LOT. As a tutor I keep in mind that you are also a human being, going through human things and whatnot. Maybe there is something you would be excited to share that has been a development in your life you are proud of...? Maybe you have some furry animals at home you love talking about...? Maybe to let me know times have been a little tough and some words of affirmation and support could help lift your spirits....? The floor is yours!
