Jon Henry General Store is seeking to hire motivated Sales Clerks for its New Market location.
Need reliable person for part time employment at Jon Henry General Store. Saturday and Sunday, and maybe if willing 1-2 days during week. Must be able to lift boxes of veggies, apples and pumpkins. Fall is our busy time of the year with pumpkins and fall flowers from early September through Nov. 1st. Position is year round with some gaps in the dead of winter.
Must like people and willing to talk and engage with conversation. Use of point of sale equipment required, but easy to learn. Limited use of cell phone during work hours.
We currently are focused on hiring shifts for weekend shifts, opportunities for weekday might develops. Weekends are required!
We are open daily from 9 - 6 and closed Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Easter.
We are seeking a motivate person who likes interaction with people, is friendly, out going and can self direct themselves to complete given tasks in a timely manner.
Employees will be expected to run the register, and handle daily tasks in a team environment.
We offer competitive compensation hourly pay along with other job perks.
Employees must be over 18 years of age.
