Welcome to the world of the Restart SMP, unfortunate traveler. With your help perhaps we can stop the end of the multiverse itself.
What is the RestartSMP?
The RestartSMP is a Minecraft lore SMP where characters from different universes are pulled into cracks within space and are blasted into a seemingly uninhabited planet. The world is yours to explore and make your own.
Every week the planet you now reside on will deal with a problem. The universe is unstable, and it will made itself clear through different means- whether it be a new person falling into the world, gravity shifting, or buildings and structures collapsing into giant sinkholes.
This SMP will have multiple seasons (each lasting about 2 months). At the end of each season the multiverse will collapse in on itself and a supernova will consume all universes. Time then resets, and you will have the option to change characters into something new or use the same character that you have played as. Everything will start over, and as the seasons go on you will experience more horror elements.
Requirements
- Be 16 or older.
- Be creative! Our server thrives on each player being creative and brining their own unique charm to it.
- Be willing to roleplay and engage in lore.
- Be willing to be recorded or record yourself. Making content on the server is not a necessity to join, but we do encourage it.
- Be willing to log on. We understand with school and work our players will be busy. We will not ask for your full unbridled commitment, but we do expect to see you on the server at least every now and again. If something occurs where you cannot be as active as you would like, then contact a moderator and let them know! We will be accommodating.
- A PC or Laptop that can run Minecraft Java Edition as well as mods such as: Origins, Alex's Caves, Custom Player Models, Expanded Biomes, The Graveyard, ETC.
- Have a working Discord account. Our Discord server will be our main way of communication with those accepted.
- Be respectful and always respect the boundaries of those around you.
Our Selection Process
Fill out the form with proper and truthful basic information about yourself and the character you plan on playing. (It's okay to be vague! You can flesh out your character more once you're accepted- but details are appreciated!) You will have the option to send a video application as well as the form. Video applications are not required; however, they will increase your chances of getting accepted into the SMP. Around 25-30 people will be accepted- everyone will get an equal chance. Applications will be open for two weeks after the 13th of September.
If your application is accepted, you will receive a link to a discord server. Once in the discord server, there will be a trial period of 1 - 2 weeks where you will show that you are willing to participate. You can do this by being active in the server and talking, as well as participating in different events that may be held.

- Introduce yourself and show us what makes you you!
- Videos must be no longer than 5 minutes.
- Add subtitles to your video
- Be creative! Don't use an application youve used for another SMP- make something new and interesting to show us who you are and what you're passionate about!
- Don't make the video based on what you think we want to hear, be true to yourself.
