During the Creating Change 2018 conference in Washington DC, members of the National Hispanic Leadership Agenda (NHLA) hosted a workshop to hear from LGBTQ Latinx advocates, policy analysts, activists, and community members about additional LGBTQ priorities NHLA should consider incorporating into its federal advocacy agenda. Even if you didn't attend Creating Change, we still want to hear your ideas!
NHLA’s Policy Agenda is released every four years, but NHLA adds additional priorities to its agenda on an ongoing basis. Please share your thoughts below on which federal policies you think NHLA should consider adding to its advocacy. Submissions will be accepted through March 12, 2018. You can find the entire Policy Agenda here:

PLEASE NOTE: NHLA recognizes the importance of state and local laws and policies, however its primary focus is on federal policy advocacy. Many NHLA member organizations are engaged in local and state policy advocacy in their own work every day. NHLA typically only weighs in on state and local policy when invited to do so by local partners on the ground.
