Dual Enrollment Opportunities for Students
“Dual enrollment” programs are college courses taught by instructors from the community college system of New Hampshire (CCSNH) in which high school students earn college credits while students are still enrolled in high school or a career technical education center. In 2017 new legislation was enacted that allows New Hampshire 11th and 12th grade high school students to take up to two concurrent or dual enrollment STEM or STEM related designated courses each academic year free of charge. This workshop will focus on academic opportunities, funding mechanisms, and what school board members need to know about credits earned and access to these programs for students.
