"EmpowerHer!" is a dynamic dialogue series by DOCTRINE-UK in collaboration with WomenWorks, designed to bridge the gap between research and real-world practice in advancing women role in modern societies. By fostering critical discussions between academia and practitioners, the series ensures that insights from latest studies translate into actionable strategies—addressing cultural, socio-economic, and policy challenges faced by women today.
The first event, "Not Just a ‘Nice Boss’: Redefining Leadership in the Post-Kartini Era" explores the balance between empathy and authority in modern leadership. Featuring researcher Galih Sakitri and entrepreneur Nacitta Kayandara, this session unpacks the emotional labor of leading with impact and heart.
