LCC Science Teaching Fellowship Application
A new program at LCC is seeking to provide postdocs & graduate students with real teaching experience as Guest Lecturers in LCC classrooms. The commitment for this fellowship is to: meet with an LCC faculty mentor to discuss and create a lesson plan, to teach that single lesson in an LCC course and to meet with the faculty afterwards to assess how it went. This program is expected to require 5-20 hours of time over an entire semester, likely focused around the day that you'll be teaching your lecture. Fellowship positions are available for Biology, Chemistry, Math or Physics. Fellows will be paired with a faculty mentor, identified by similar fields of study. Length of commitment is one semester, with a continuing semester renewal per discretion of fellow and mentor. Fellowships can start in Fall 2022 or Spring 2023. Any masters students, doctoral students or postdocs are welcome to apply.

Deadline: August 1
